Debit Mastercard
With your checking or share account at VAPR, your Debit Mastercard gives you access to your money wherever you need it. You can withdraw funds at any ATM or make purchases at any establishment that accepts Mastercard. Transactions at VAPR's authorized ATMs are free of charge. At other banks' ATMs, the first ten transactions are free; starting with the eleventh, an additional fee applies.
Money Orders
Need a money order? Stop by any of our branches and request one on the spot. Available up to $1,000.00, for a $2.00 fee.
Vehicle Tags (Marbetes)
Renew your vehicle tag every year by visiting your nearest branch, for a $4.00 fee.
Incoming Wire Transfers
To receive a wire transfer, keep the following in mind:
- Fill out the form available here and give it to the bank or institution originating the transfer.
- Complete all requested information; if any details are missing, the funds will be returned to the sending institution.
- Any fees charged by intermediaries, correspondents, or receiving banks will be deducted from the transferred amount.
- Notify us immediately once you authorize the incoming transfer, by calling 787-900-0200.
Outgoing Wire Transfers
To send a wire transfer from your account, keep the following in mind:
- Fill out the form available here and submit it at your preferred VAPR branch, along with valid photo ID and evidence of the transaction's purpose (invoices, purchase order, bank statement, etc.).
- All transfer instructions are subject to verification and final approval by VAPR Federal Credit Union.
- Final credit to the beneficiary's account depends on verification and approval by the receiving bank — make sure you're available during that process.
- Forms received before 2:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday) are processed the same day. Forms received after 2:00 p.m. will be processed the next business day.
- We do not process transfers on Saturdays.
- International transfers may take three (3) business days or more to reach the beneficiary.
- Each transfer carries a $30.00 service fee.
